Rendang Uwan is a ready-to-eat rendang dendeng dish, a traditional Malay cuisine.Made with only 7 pure ingredients, no preservatives, no coconut milk and no added salt.

What are the ingredients used in Rendang Uwan?
Beef, onion, shallots, dried chili, soy sauce, tamarind and vegetable oil. 

How is Rendang Uwan different from other rendang?
Our recipe is unique family recipe that has been perfected over generations. Unlike traditional rendang, ours is prepared without coconut milk or added salt, making it a lighter and more health-conscious choice without compromising on flavour.

Is Rendang Uwan spicy?
Our rendang has a moderate spice level, which adds to its authentic taste but is not overpowering. It is crafted to suit a wide range of palates while retaining the traditional flavour of rendang.

Can I customise the spice level?
We do not offer customisation for spice levels as our recipe is crafted to achieve a balanced flavour profile that reflects the traditional family recipe.

How should I store Rendang Uwan?
For optimal freshness, keep Rendang Uwan refrigerated if you plan to enjoy it within 1 day upon receiving the product.  For longer storage, it can be frozen and enjoyed later.

How long does Rendang Uwan last?
If frozen, it can be stored for up until 1 year without losing its quality and flavour (since there is no coconut milk). In the refrigerator, it can last up to 7 days. Once the pack is opened, store it in an airtight container to maintain freshness.

Is Rendang Uwan gluten-free or allergen-free?
Yes, Rendang Uwan is gluten-free, and we avoid common allergens like nuts in our recipe. However, please contact us if you have any specific allergen concerns.
